Some wedding days just feel easy to photograph because the couple is so present with each other. That was Niki and Corry from the moment I arrived.

They celebrated their wedding at Rancho Las Lomas in Orange County, a venue full of Spanish architecture, beautiful courtyards, and tucked-away corners that make every part of the property feel unique. It was the perfect setting for a day that felt relaxed, emotional, and full of energy.

Before the ceremony, they chose to do a first look, and I’m so glad they did. It gave them a chance to step away from the timeline for a few minutes and just be together before the day picked up. Right after, they exchanged private vows, and it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the day to witness.

With no audience, they were able to talk to each other without feeling rushed or distracted. There were tears, plenty of smiles, and a few laughs mixed in too. By the time they finished, you could tell they were able to take a deep breath and really enjoy the rest of the day together.

Their ceremony brought everyone together to celebrate the start of this next chapter. Seeing Corry’s reaction as Niki walked down the aisle was one of those moments you can’t recreate, and it was clear how excited they both were to finally say, “I do.”

After the ceremony, we explored the property for portraits before they headed into the reception. These two made my job easy. They were always laughing, talking, and genuinely enjoying every part of the day together.

As the evening went on, heartfelt toasts turned into a packed dance floor, with friends and family celebrating late into the night.
